Dear me! They call this a Library? No wonder more people are turning to the internet for information/entertainment! It is small enough as it is without the council/housing 'offices' taking up have the space at the back! I thought my kitchen was small!
The staff is very helpful and the system works fine. However, it is quite surprising for a town with 44,000 inhabitants to have such a small library. Compared to similar sized towns in other European countries, the book offer is minimal, the space is small, noisy (which isn't surprising, since it shares space with a swimming pool and other facilities), and with very little tables for studying or reading. Students will probably find a better environment at their high-school/university library. Cramlington deserves a better library.
