Kids brought me 2 punnets of strawberries home. They were all well past their best and the ones I bit in to tasted rank.2 days ago the ones I bought were lovely.Five pounds but the bin.
Great having a simply food store although it could do with being bigger, as sometimes there is a lack of choice and the dates aren't always very much in advance. The staff there are second to none and always extremely helpful.
I could change the stars from three to five frequently in all M.&S food stores as the shelves tend to be either full of food and choice, or, on other visits, lacking in both.I have not visited the cafe here so will not comment. However I do shop weekly at the Cramlington M&S food store and think the staff and the store itself will always gain 10 out of 10 from my visits. Now, to food. Some thoughts from my shopping sprees.New foods do enter the shelves regularly but it would be more enjoyable if foods rotated weekly throughout the month so that every visits offers at least some choice of new foods.Food containing garlic could be given an easily seen sign so it can be quickly disgarded by the many people who do not like garlic?When M&S originally offered food shopping in store it was was the best of the best.Eventually the food became available in so many stores that the quality of food dropped and ratings on choices and quality dropped also.However I have and always will shop at M&S including the food stores. I enjoyed the reviews before starting mine.
Lovely meal deals purchased here and have a fantastic variety of healthy options that I never seem to see in other stores. It's normally a treat when coming here due to price but fantastic lovely friendly staff. The cafe is worth a visit also if you have the time
This simply food shop it's great for just popping in and getting the basics....some of them m and s own-brand products are very reasonably priced and very tasty the porridge comes highly recommended.... I particularly like some the Rose and Bay products especially the room spray and hand-wash.. on top of this I must say the staff in the coffee shop are exceptional well worth a visit!
